I was here on work as a tour guide with a group of 6 people. The hotel was excellent and the staff were superb, attentive and full of local knowledge. Jacob who working evenings was first class. He was really helpful on local knowledge of other things to do and was excellent in guiding me with some good whisky choices. He was multi tasking, running a number of different things on one particular evening and did it all in his stride. Nice rooms, great service and a lovely breakfast. Any easy choice.

Great hotel to stay at if you are visiting the Speyside distilleries. I stayed here for 3 nights with some friends will visiting many distilleries in the area. The service and rooms were great. We had breakfast at the hotel every day at the hotel's Toot's Cafe - several options, all were very good. We had a quick fish and chips luch there one day - again, very good. On our first day, not having made any other reservations made, we had the 5 course dinner at the hotel's Pagodas restaurant. The food and ambiance were very upscale - but we were dressed quite casually and did not feel out of place. We hade the pricier whiskey pairing and were very happy with everything. The hotel bar (Spirit Safe) is very cozy and inviting with several hundred bottles of whiskey to choose from. Karis (hope spelling is correct) was a wonderful whiskey sommelier who was able to provide excellent recommendations on what to try. I would not hesitate to return here on any future visits to the area.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Station Hotel in Rothes, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The rooms were immaculate – spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, providing a comfortable base after days exploring the Speyside region. However, the real highlight of our stay was the hotel's whisky bar, and in particular, the exceptional bar manager, Carys. Carys is a true asset to The Station Hotel. Her encyclopaedic knowledge of whisky, combined with her genuine passion for sharing it, transformed our evenings into something truly special. She took the time to understand our preferences and guided us through an excellent selection of drams, introducing us to whiskies we might never have discovered on our own. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her engaging conversation made for many happy hours spent at the bar. It's rare to encounter someone who combines such expertise with such warmth and hospitality. The entire team at The Station Hotel clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the guest experience. Whether you're a whisky enthusiast or simply looking for a characterful hotel with outstanding service in the heart of Speyside, The Station Hotel comes highly recommended.

We only ate at the restaurant so this review is for that (not the hotel accomodation or Toots which is in the same building). Highly recommend going for the 10 course set. The dinner was fantastic and the food creative and well balanced. Also thanks to Jacob who ran an excellent service.

Everything about my stay was excellent, from the warm welcome on arrival to the food and decor. Ariana and the staff were outstanding, making me feel at home throughout my visit. The hotel is set in a small town that many people might just pass through, but it is well worth staying for a few days to explore the local area. I will definitely be back in the near future. The food was outstanding, and the wide selection of drinks from their own brewery was a real highlight.

Recently dinner here for a occassion within the Restaurant and had the most wonderful night. Service was great from Jacob and his colleagues, was looked after from the moment we stepped in the door. Enjoying pre-dinner drinks in their Whisky Lounge before heading through to the Restaurant. The Hotel is gorgeously decorated throughout, and even though i haven't seen the rooms I'm sure they are just as beautiful. The meal was fabulous, each course well thought out and truly brings a great dining experience to the Moray area. Looking forward already to our next venture out.

Toots Cafe (inside the hotel) is a cute little spot for lunch on our way to a distillery tour. We had an assortment of dishes and all of them were good. The service was prompt and efficient - shoutout to our server who appears to be making drinks, waiting tables, running food and also working the front desk of the restaurant! We’d never have known she was doing so much based on the service provided. The hotel has an outstanding whisky collection in the lounge area. There was only 1 other table occupied while we were there so, while we made a reservation in advance, it likely wasn’t necessary.

This hotel was lovely. Henry was so hospitable and accommodating to our needs. Make sure you partake in the adorable bar and Pagodas restaurant. The 10 course meal was fabulous! Do the matching whiskey tasting for an added kick. Very close to a ton of major distilleries. Up the street from balvenie and macallan. Absolutely will come back here!

We had the pleasure of staying at The Station Hotel for four nights and it is an experience we will never forget. Our rooms were beautifully appointed and very spacious, the customer service outstanding, the tasting menu some of the best food we’ve ever had in our entire lives, and a great selection of scotch and wine! If you’re looking to explore the Speyside region, this hotel is a must-stay. A special shout-out to Jacob, Megan , Ann and the entire staff. You are the hardest working people in Scotland! Thank you for everything. You made our vacation truly magical.Sending love always!
